Bites
were hard to come by following a heavy ice breaking session at Trinity Waters and weights fell to well below par.
The top rod was Press officer Ivan Currie who poled dead maggot
at 13 metres centre off peg 4 and needed just three small carp and a few roach totalling 9-0-0 to clinch a comfortable victory.
The runner-up was Barry Fowler who used similar tactics at peg
6 to tempt 8-12-0 of bream and roach as did third placed Adie Baker who included
a 5lb carp in a 5-15-0 total catch from peg 2.
Result.
