Thick finished 46lb clear of his nearest challenger.
The Wells based Thatchers Tackle salesman both
long and short poled soft pellet off Match Lake 18 and caught carp from his fist put-in.
Tom built up a slow but
steady catch rate and clinched victory with a creditable 12 carp catch totalling 82-5-0.
Match organiser Tony Rixon
weighed-in the heaviest catch of silverfish.
Tony poled maggot over a sparse maggot and caster feed at varying
distances off peg 16 and finished the match with 11-6-0 of carp to 6lb plus a winning 8-10-0 of perch and tench.
