with 185 points after notching up a 78 point victory.
Somerset Angling finished fourth on the day and became main
challengers with 182 while Bristol’s Avon Angling put in a 62 point performance to claim
third place with 171.
In the individual stakes victory went to Bristol’s
Tony Rixon who topped both categories.
Tony poled caster over a caster laced groundbait at 16 metres off Lodge Lake’s corner peg 57 and brought
a carp weighing 10-12-0 plus a superb 62-2-0 of Lodge Lake skimmers to the scales.
