The heaviest overall weight was taken by Bristol’s Dean
Malin.
“The Dean” poled single maggot to the
far bank off peg 1 and 38-8-0 of carp weighing in the 2-5lb bracket responded.
The
top silvers weight went to Dan White who finished fourth overall with 11-9-0 of carp plus a couple
of small skimmers weighing 7oz.

Local rod, Simon Ryall won
comfortably with 20-7-0 of mostly carp taken from the bankside margins of peg 5 with chopped worm.
The silvers pools money went to John Page who used the same tactics as the winner
to tempt an 8-4-0 mix from peg 14.
